Oak Flooring

What is engineered wood flooring?

Engineered wood flooring is in fact the most common flooring type used today.

Oak Engineered wood flooring is real oak pressed into two or more layers and thicknesses, into a plank. The layers run in different directions to give greater strength and stability than solid wood. The top layer is visible when installed, and the inner core is what makes the plank stable.

When compared to solid wood flooring, engineered wood flooring is more cost effective, and quicker and easier to install.

Here are some of the benefits to install our Besp-Oak Engineered Flooring:

Our revolutionary flooring range has a 6mm solid wear layer and features 15mm of multi-layered
birch plywood.
Although the flooring is pre-finished with 5 coats of UV oil, you can re-sand and re-finish a
Besp-Oak floor several times guaranteeing years of added value.
Our engineered plank flooring is strong enough to be installed as a load bearing floor but can be
floated over dry sub-floors or warm water under floor heating.
Besp-Oak flooring is available in a Natural finish and comes in two lengths - 2.2m and
2.4m (both 180mm wide). The 2.2m length plank is 14mm thick and the 2.4m length is available
in two depths of 14mm or 21mm thick.
